Thors Hammer
Viking decorated silver Thors Hammer. complete with suspension hoop.This artefact was bought at the Newark Antiques Fair and the ticket with it stated " EX. OLD COLLECTION {SAID TO HAVE BEEN FOUND NEAR POCKLINGTON AIRFIELD 1950 s}" - Sold on ebay 10-Mar-2006.
Roman bronze

A Roman bronze military Furniture Fitting (found Pocklington). Sold at auction in 2007.

David II
David II first coinage, early 1330''s, Farthing, 0.26g, crowned head left, sceptre before, + moneta:Regis:d , rev. plain cross, a mullet of five points in each quarter, + av/idss/cot/tor (St.fig.43; B.1, fig.249 same dies; SCBI 35 -; Holmes and Stewartby dies Aa; S.5084), fine, extremely rare. Sold at auction 2007.

Pedro II

Portugal, Pedro II (1683-1706), 4000 Réis 1707 (posthumous date), Rio, arms, rev. cross, r's in angles (F.76; G.100.06), cleaned, minor spade mark on obverse and test scrapes on reverse, nearly very fine, scarce. Sold at auction 2006.

Archbishop Wulfred of Canterbury (805-832), penny, Group II, moneyer Swefherd, Archbishop's tonsured bust facing within inner circle, his pallium decorated with crosses, a single large pellet at either side, vvlfredi arcihepiscopi; rev., monogram dorovernia c in inner circle, svvefherd moneta (cf. N. 240 (but has the the pellets on obverse); S. 888), slightly cracked, with a small rim chip and evidently an excavated coin, otherwise devices very fine and a strong portrait, rare Found at Barmby Moor (near Pocklington), 1984; purchased 1984. Auction in USA in 1997.
