Hewson family of Ousethorpe
The following photograph was supplied by David Batch.

The photo was taken at Clay Farm, Ousethorpe. From the left is George Hewson, husband of Polly Mary (nee Cullum), Albert Hewson, Albert's wife Annie, Eliza Jemima Cullum 2nd Wife of John Christopher Watson, unknown, unknown, The man touching his head is probably a Hewson brother. The brothers farmed Mill Farm, Clay Farm & Yew Tree Farm.

Interestingly, upon a recent visit to the top of Pocklington Church, I noticed some graffitti carved into the stone by a J. C. Cullum 1928. I wonder if this was the same family?
